Hey Reader,

It's Monday and we have just the motivation to inspire you.

Have a scroll through, did you miss anything last week? Here's a brief summary of what's good, what's new and what had us talking on the blog lately.

A Day In The Life Of A Cloud (Platform) Engineer

|Published on February 11, 2022

MNTQ Podcast - Season 6, Episode 12

In this episode, Sawda breaks down the reality of working in Cloud and being a junior Software Engineer.

sorry, infrastructure so like, okay, let's say you're building a product let's say you're building, i dont know, an app or website there's a software engineering part where like you're building. Okay, so there's frontend so like let's say, if you're building a website, the front end is all the things you see so like the physical elements of the page and the buttons and this part of the form and this this this color and this stuff, but the visual aspects of the of what you're using right? that's that's front end. Then we have backend. So like how how does your input, get processed, stored manage all that stuff? Then, it - see what is platform, it's not even easy to explain. Then there's the stuff it all sits on. Then there's like the - so if you had a house, you have the rooms of the house, and you have the interior designers and stuff then you have like, I don't know what would be backend

Our discussion topic for the day is “Empathy“:

My husband and I have been married for 6 years, and I’ve always noticed I can do much more easily empathize with others, but when it comes to problems he’s having, it’s like I hit a wall. I try to connect and listen and empathize, but I lack that same emotional feeling. It’s harder. I feel more critical. I feel more disconnected. It feels weird that I can better empathize with a coworker than my spouse.

Tune in, you’ll love it

(Part 1/3): How to Engage Your Audience With An Attractive Character

|Published on February 7, 2022

I thought it’d be nice to share some of the things I’ve been bookmarking as I read through Russell Brunson’s “Dotcom Secrets”. Starting with the profile of an “Attractive Character”. Attractive Characters have a backstory and share it often: People won’t care about any of the success you’ve had, and they won’t follow you or your advice until they know that you’ve been where they are now.
